Driveshaft...

Just wondering is it worth changing stock driveshaft? What kind? My plans by next year are to be pushing 600-700hp.

For a mildly modified car it probably isn't worth it. For a high horsepower car such as yours I would recommend it. An aftermarket driveshaft reduces the amount of rotating mass thus allowing more horsepower to reach the rear wheels without adding a "power adder" modification. There are two types of driveshafts you can get.

The first type that most people get is the aluminum driveshaft. It is less weight and stronger than the stock one and usually runs around $250 give or take 20 bucks or so. The other option is a carbon fiber driveshaft which is even lighter and stronger than the aluminum one. The huge downside to the carbon fiber one is that it costs upwards of $600 and you're looking at probably around $1000 for one of these. Some models of mustangs have cheaper carbon fiber shafts thus the huge difference in price.
