Rocker Clatter?

I have what I would have to call "rocker clatter" over 2200 rpms til at least 4000 rpms. Definitely loud enough to hear over the vortec blower. Hear it when I put in the clutch and the motor comes down, hear it cruising at 80 on the hiway. The only time I don't hear it is below 2000 rpms. Recently rebuilt again motor, supposed to be all fresh new parts through out. Any body have any ideas what it could be and how to make it go away?

lash adjusters (lifters), or something in the bottom end.

can they be adjusted? Definitely sounds like it's coming from top of engine.

I'd go to the shop that rebuilt the engine and have them warranty it.

Could they be the wrong ones? Rocker or the lifters? They put wrong pistons in the first time.

no, the issue we ran into was they didnt pump back up all the way. they are suppose to be bled out and reinstalled, they suppose to pump back up whan they get oil pressure. his didnt for some reason, after changing them, the valvetrain clatter went away.

Before the piston came apart, they were back into the top end 3 or 4 times chasing noises. Assumed it was the piston that came apart.
