99 cobra clutch

My clutch is making a loud squeeking noise and im guessing its fixing to go out. So i have a series of questions

What clutch should i get? I am extremely tight on money right now.

1. Clutch i should buy
2. How much does it cost
3. How hard and time consuming is it to put in by yourself.

Your help is GREATLY appreciated

Disconnect the battery
To take the shifter off
Pull the mid-pipe off
pull the driveshaft
Undo the motor mount bolts
disconnect the tranny wire harness
unbolt the starter
pull the tranny
remove the pressure plate
remove the flywheel

I put in the last 2 cause I don't know how many miles are on the clutch. But like Mach1racer said its probably the TOB. But since its apart you might as well replace the clutch. Clutches range anywhere from 190$ to 500$. All depends on what you do with the car (.i.e. daily driver, street/strip, race car, high hp, etc..)

The disk on the King Cobra kit is organic. I'd get a more agressive disk. Maybe something of kevlar. A proven combo has always been a FRPP pressure plate and a mcCleod kevlar disk. Very similiar to a spec stage 2 setup. Still give you streetability but will hold agressive launches.... to a point. -Mark
