p0171 p0174 codes 03 cobra
got a 03 cobra with cai and cat back, seems to be burning alot of fuel and tripping computer codes p0171 p0174 codes.i have cleaned the maf with maf cleaner and also have checked for vacume leaks,nothing found so far, any help or ideas ?

I believe those are lean in bank 1 and 2 codes . . . . But i could be wrong

i know the codes po171 po174 are lean codes bank1 and bank2,i am trying to find out what could be causing these codes.could it be dirty 02 sensors,bad maf or vacume leak or somthing else.so far i cleaned the maf with maf cleaner and could not find a vacume leak so far. any ideas would be great thanks.also the car is runing rich because the computer sees a lean condition.

start with cleaning the MAF if you didn't find any vacuum leaks

think i found the problem, the egr valve was leaking so i replaced it and cleared the codes ,i will let everybody know if it works, thanks.

the egr was the problem,there was a air leak where the egr mounts to the blower, the gasket was not sealed properly, the egr was probaly alright but the new egr with gasket was pretty cheap so i replaced it anyway and no more leaks,I found leak by spraying brake clean all aruond the motor while it was running and as soon as the car died found problem.cleared codes so far so good.

glad i deleted mine! the block plate i put on there won't leak. oh, and before you tell me the emissions part, i just went through yesterday with no problems.
