Need advice on 331 build

Im building a 331 turbo motor and was wondering if I could get some input on what would be a good set of heads to run. Im planning on running about 6psi on the street and hopefully 14 or so at the track. This is the kit I was planning on running so if you have any opinions on it throw them in too if you could. Thanks

Dart Block

why dont you just stickwith the edelbrocks?they are 170cc heads on the slightly smaller
side but a ton better than the stockers.you should ditch that ssi intake for something that will move more air like a holley systemax or trick flow r series,at least get the ssir upper intake.you will need to step up to at least 42lb injectors too.get rid of the flow impeders and install 3.31s-3.55 gears

RPM's too small
AFR185's too small

TW only if you bought the TW kit from probe wich I doubt since you already had inline heads.

I would suggest the high port. Ideally the CNC race version but that may be a bit too much for a street car even boosted. The 192cc runner of the street version does not show it's true potential.

If you don't like the special headers you have to use then an RHS215, AFR 205 (not convinced they are worth the money) or even a Vic JR.

You are best served with a large head and 200cc heads run just fine on a street 306 at 10:1 a 215 is no probelm on a 331.

What ever head you choose you should run a custom cam. Billet customs are 450 and worth every penny.

How fast do you want to go and how much money do you have to spend? Why only 6psi on the street and 14psi at the track? Why not 14psi everywhere?

I know one thing, I wouldn't buy AFR anything...

Too big is a relative term. Too big why? If the engine can use it, its not too big. Small ports, small cams and small intakes make small power.
