Question about wheels?
When going from a 16" wheel to a 17" wheel does it affect ride quality?? Thanks

the lower the tire profile the lower the ride quality.

Since the subject is on the table, what is considered light and what is heavy for a rim?
...and sorry for hijacking your thread. |

oh yeah, I've got 17's on 40's and they are much better than 18's on 35's on bumpy roads. On fresh pavement, you can't tell them apart. At least I can't. Also check your shocks/struts. They may need to be replaced or adjust if you have that kind.

Im doing a 5 lug conversion and thinking about going with the 95 GT wheels. They are 16" same as my pony wheels. I can swap my tires over. Or sould i just get some 17s. Any opinions

I can tell the difference between 16s and 17s for sure. On the upside, handling is dramatically improved with the upsized wheels
