Buying new heads... need specs and advice
Can any one tell me what the bore, stroke, piston cc, and piston type (dished, flat top, etc.) is on a 94 cobra? It has GT 40 heads.
Also what would a good compression ratio be for a 5.0 with a 9psi Paxton? Basically, I'm looking to buy 165cc AFR cylinder heads and rockers as my next mod. Here's what I have so far: ---------MOTOR--------- Novi 2000 Supercharger - 9psi BBK 70MM Throttle Body RC Racing 38lb Injectors Walbro GSS255 Fuel Pump TrickFlow - TFS 1 Camshaft GT 40 heads ----------EXHAUST----------- MAC - 1 3/4 primary x 3in collector Ceramic Coated Long Tube Headers Dr. Gas - 3in to 2.5in Offroad X-Pipe Bassani - Stainless Aftcat Catback - 2.5in - 3in Polished Tips --------EEC / IGNITION---------- 90MM Lightning MAF DiabloSport Chipmaster Revolution Chip Crane HI-6R Ignition and PS92 Coil ---------DRIVETRAIN------------ Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel Ford Racing 3.73 Rear Gears |

I've made up my mind... I'm going with AFR heads. I just need specs so I can finish filling out a form.

You have to consider the whole package.. Plain old as from Ford GT40X heads with 10-12# will exceed what most people would consider safe for the stock block. Better heads would yield more power capability but your block would be pushed to the edge.
