Wheel size body mod advice (87gt vert)
Hi guys,
I've recently been blessed with new brakes sounds cool but i got given a last minute upgrade as my order was late and now im having to get a set of new front wheels as the 6pot calli's i have are mahoosive!! fronts are 13.5" which fit too perfectly under the wheel, i can run the car but if i get a stone in there it will jam the wheel and calli's...the rear are 11.35" I'm currently running 18x9 (ET20) on the rear and 17x8 (ET20) on the front (dont worry all tyre sizes match... i should state they are motorsport wheels... its looking like i have to fit 18's on the front and im thinking of putting the current 18x9 i have on the front and getting 18x10 for the rear... work already done is i have the rear fenders rolled, will soon be fitting eibach lowering springs on the front and rear, and on the rear i have adjustable MM lower control arms... ive seen on a few threads that 18x9's can fit on the front but im trying to find out if i will need to roll the fenders or put any spacers as there would be clearance issues with the control arms... Any advice or help on both the front or rear would be great... Thanks Jamie Last edited by 1988 convertible; December 11th, 2008 at 07:03 AM. |
