Looking for a good tire

I was just wondering what tires people are running at the track. I want it to be a radial not slicks. If you give hp your at. So i have a good idea how they would hook with my car.

Nitto is the hardest drag radial made if your looking for something that will not wear out fast on the street but still hook semi good at the track go with them.

MT et streets are your best bet and they are pretty soft and will hook up awesome but they will not last very long on the street. Be like changing your tires with your oil

Yeah it will handle it im not really worry about break anything. i have street tires on it now and it will break lose everytime i hit boost. Looks cool but not good for a race. Another ? does anyone go to the road course and too the track too. I want a all around kind of set-up. I know you lose little on one or the other but i dont want to set it up just for drag or the road course.

I go aginst the forum on this one. I had a set of et street and yeah i loved them they hooked great, but... They lasted 3 and half months before I was on the cords! and I dont even daily drive my car. I went to the track on the weekends like every other week a few street races etc. So if you don't drive you car for shit there pretty good. I switched to nitto's and I love em. I've put over 8,000 miles on them with trips to the track etc and there still going strong! They don't hook quite as hard as the et streets at the track but if you heat em up good there ok. And there plenty of hook on the street for my hci 302 on a 200 shot.

I like the ability of the Nittos to hook and the longevity I get from them. Frankly in this day and age, pissing away cash for a set of tires every few months is pointless. Sure dropping the hammer in 1st or 2nd will bust them loose, but all things are relative. I know how to get my car screaming without burning half the tire off.

If you're looking for a sticky tire for autocross/drag use, check out the Nitto NT01.

if you look hard enough and your smart about you can find some slightly used slicks pretty cheap
