A possible buy
Anyone have a reason why I shouldn't. I was gonna go with the 446.

I've talked to the guys at M&R before, and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. They build a lot of NASCAR motors. They have a stock block 408 that they sell for $2300. Are you really planning on 700+ HP?
On the other hand I would price out the same motor with Woody, since I would guess he can give you a competative price and probably better customer service.
