nitrous 101

ok so i have my 88 gt, its a stock engine minus underdrive pullys and smog delete, i have a AOD with a 4r70w gearset that i plan on using this summer, not 100% on the converter im going to use, i also will be using a set of 4:10`s (curtious of sean).

i would like to run a mild shot of nitrous but i dont know where to start, im hoping for a kit in the right direction

thanks!!!

what would you like to know? the kit comes with complete instructions and easy install. retard the timing a few degrees and run 1 step cooler plugs for every 50 hp shot after the first 50 i think. it's been awhile. here's a few pics from one of the happiest days of my life, next to marriage and child birth and all that other jazz.

I'd use a 50 or 75 shot using a dry kit if you have the mass conversion on your car.....anything bigger wet can cause puddling with that stock intake

Yea.....That was my problem when thinking about the nitrous. I was worried about puddling with a wet kit. Nitrous Express I think is the easiest kit and also proven time and time again. If you dont have a wet or dry preference, go with that. I do like the spray bar idea though. Didnt thing about that.

i have sprayed a 100 shot in my car alot and i have had no "puddeling" if you use a NOS spray nozzel it uses the nitrous to instantly vaporize the fuel. and you jet the fuel too so the only way it will puddle is if you have a bad selonid.

i am plus 1000 on the plate as soon as i can afford one i will get one. maybe i can get my wife to buy me one for christmas.

and i am still waiting on the money order to get here so i can ship those puppys out.

zex dry kit, easy to hook up and safest on the market bar none. ( solenoids will support a 200 shot )
