My friend is getting his clutch put in by his girlfriend's dad. When he first got the car it wouldn't go anywhere. When you tried putting it in gear it would just vibrate and all that. It would go into gear but it would just make a loud noise like the clutch wasn't engaging or not engaging whatever. Well, his gf's dad says the tranny might be done. I have a hard time believing that.

kinda sounds like his clutch is not disengageing or syncros are completely gone. is it a stock cable or adjustable? if you start the car in gear does it start to move forward even with the clutch in?

well he can bring it to me (tranny off the car) and i can tell him if the tranny itsself is bad for no charge. if it is bad i can tell him what it will cost to fix and he can save up. $300.00 is about 70% less then you will find to have one reuilt hell the syncros themselves cost me $70.00.

Sean maybe you can hook me up and tell me how hard it is and what i need to do cause my t-5 has 190,000 miles on the original tranny over 20 bottles of nitrous and it's perfectly quiet smooth but it fucking leaks from like every where. Like the speedo cable all that shit. How hard is it to replace the seals and what's the cost. I don't want to rebuild it cause it works so good. I even power shift on motor and like twice when I was loosing I've done the risky and busted wot shift on a 200 shot lol. All i've ever done to is it drain and refill with syncromesh and i top it off constantly cause it leaks like a 3inch by 3inch puddle every couple of days.
