1969 351 windsor


Hello I found a 1969 351 windsor, Would this be a good block for a stroker? It is a compleat motor It is bored 30 over I pulled Intake and heads it all looks good Thanks Bob

higher nickel content plus i think more webbing. not sure on that though. definatlly a good block though. dont forget if u want to covert it to a roller motor the right way to do it is with the $500+ retrofit lifters..

The 69-74 blocks are the strongest factory blocks. The 69 blocks have a 9.48 deck height where as every other 351W block has a 9.5 deck height which may require you to mill the tops of the pistons a bit.
