need some advice.

hey all im not new to the forum but new to this section.

i am almost 100% sure i found a notch to buy, just wondering if it is a good deal.
i will be turning it into a drag car and hopefully able to drive it to a car meet or cruise as well. as for that i will discuss my plans later and see your feedback.

the car i am looking at is a 93 coupe with a cowl with a custom dash.

it has all of this as well
6 point bar
10 gal cell
Yellow Top Optima battery in trunk
4:30 gear
Moser Spool
Moser axles
Aerospace Rear Disc Brakes
Southside Bar Lower Control Arms
Stock Upper Control Arms
QA1 Tube K Member
QA1 Front Coilovers
Billet Caster/Camber Plates
MSD 6AL Box
Autometer Custom Dash with Gauges
tranny cooler w/ elect fan
Welded sub frame connectors
Drive shaft loop
5 Lug Conversion
Weld Pro Stars 15x8 5.5 Backspace (255 radial, not drag radial)
Weld Pro Stars 15x3.5 w/new Mickey Thompson Fronts
Hurst Quarterstick for C4
5 inch HO Fibertrends Bolt On Cowl Hood
Full Interior With Backseat, power windows work.
Car has been repainted and looks good. NO RUST
for 4000 doll hairs.

it also comes with a C4, reverse manual valve body, TCI billet servo, Moroso Pan, and TCI 8" converter. but the c4 has been beat on as it used to be a tt v8 car. it has started out as a 4 cylinder.

there pretty much nothing in the engine bay so i would need a wiring harness and everything else.

really depends on you w/ that one. i mean if you would rather just buy a car already done, the second one would probably be the way to go. if you'd rather do the work yourself then the 1st one. id love to have the 2nd one lol

only thing is where the shifter is located, seems like he did some cutting, is there no way to get the shifter in stock location with a c4?

I do agree...If this one comes with the motor aaaannnnd its the motor you want then go get it. After my recent purchase I am partial to buying a car that is stock or close to it. Only because I bought a car that was modded and the guy I bought it from couldnt tell me much about it being that he got it from another guy. So I am still finding out things. That makes it hard to buy performance parts without stripping down the whole motor first.

But if he has all the details and receipts then go for it. LOL. And hell a 408, oh yea...sounds good to me. LOL.

Both cars are pretty good deals I think. With the economy the way it is you will find alot of good deals on Mustangs out there.

You can fit a couple shifters in the stock location on these cars. I believe B&M makes a specific shifter for these cars and the Hurst Quarter Stick fits like a glove when you use the adapter plate from Holcomb Motorsports. With the Holcomb/Hurst set up you can use a stock 5-speed boot so the car looks like a 5-speed car. People relocate the shifters for two reasons, one is because they are idiots and can't figure out how to put them in the stock location and the other reason is because it is a better feel for some people to move the shifter back.

what color is the first one? because if it's black, then get that because black cars are faster than red cars

did i mention this car was carbed?? any good readings for me on the subject. the car runs 6.80s in the 1/8, thats around 10.60s in 1/4 correct? he said it was a 1/8 mile car, i do 1/4 mile so i know i will need to make some changes.
