do you need fly cuts?


do you need fly cuts in the pistions to use
Trick Flow® Track Max (TM) Hydraulic Roller Camshafts for Ford 5.0L: TFS-51402001 - trickflow.com
oh and use 1.6's ?

any help would be great thankz

yes or aftermarket pistons that already have larger flycuts in them

with that cam yes....you should always check valve to piston gap any wayz leave nothing to chance

Always check valve to piston clearance.

What exactly are you doing? A new cam, a rebuild or what? I see others talking about new pistons so I'm confused.

I'd use a set of Keith Black hypers before I'd use the heavy ass Speed Pro forged pistons.

overhaul, i want to freshen up the block and bore it .30, so i need new pistions anyways, my goals are a nice street strip car with as close to or more then 300 to the wheels (n/a)

so far i have a cai, gt 40 upper and lower, gt 40 heads, exhaust, alu flywheel and driveshaft, underdrives, and a 65mm tb

No, why not? My experience has been noticible throttle response and acceleration improvement. I have yet to see any negative effects of having an aluminum flywheel.
