I have never done it before, but i would say that you would either have to get new brackets, drill new holes in your brackets, or make some kind of holding brace of your own...that is my guess though!

well woundt i just have to get the bracket from the eclipse and just replace them that was my thought

just my 2 cents
I would think you would have to take the brackets/slides off of the mustang seats, and then put them on the eclipse seats. The drilling may be needed to align the mustang slides onto the eclipse seats. Why not go ahead and buy some aftermarket racing seats, you will have as good or better than the eclipse seats, and you will have all of the hardware you need.
I once put some Nova seats in a Honda Civic. The Honda seats were crap, and I needed something, it looked like crap, and I sold it very soon afterwards................

you can always fab up some adapters brackets or something if you can weld/have a welder

nova seats in a civic lol thats kinda funny lol mostly the only reason i was thinkin about doing this is because when i drive the car i feel like im sitting in a couch and im gonna fall asleep
and i dont want to risk hurting the stang

stick a piece of plywood on top of the seats like they do for old folks that want a firm mattress.
