removing/replacing hood by myself

would you recommend it? i removed my old hood by myself, would it be harder to replace it by myself?

it can be done. i'd tape the corners so you don't accadently scratch your fender. it happens

Isnt drilling a small hole in the hinge a good way to help you with reassembly?

i'd tape a rag to each corner and gently prop the hood up on the car, get the bolts started and snugged and then work on alignment

yeah i am going with stangfreaks idea of the rags. it will be way easier to have the hood stay up on its own when trying to adjust for alignment. it takes longer but you can do it.

if you dont have one friend, im sure you have some kind of family and if u dont have any family close, u could ask a nieghbor to give you a hand..taking it off could be done without somone but putting the new one on u should definitely get a person to help you

i dnt have friends out here. well i do have friends from work but they live miles away and like me, theyre all lazy. lol. i did it myself and it was pretty easy. got one of the bolts on, aligned the other side then squeezed the others on. pretty easy. thx for the feedback.
