Head Code question

i was calling around to local part yards to see if i could pick up some GT40's cheap. But they're asking me what the code is on my head. I have no clue what it is or where to find it can anyone help me out?

Are they asking you for GT40 or GT40P heads ? or the actual casting number ? if you are looking for explorer heads the 95-96 and very early 97s at GT40 heads , and the rest of the 97 and newer ones had gt40p heads
