some pics of the winter project

i am by no means a good fabricator and i have the shittiest welder ever so keep your criticism to a minimum. the car is supposed to be getting painted in mid january so the motor is out and i wanted everything done right so i wanted to clean up the engine bay. the only wires that will be seen are the fuel injector wires, maf wires and o2 sensor wires.its almost ready for bondo.

Lol.....I never touched the intake the whole time....

Its at the machine shop gettin two new valves....

He also had one of the spark plug threads cross threaded.....spark plug was half an inch in the hole.

looks good just would have did it a lil differently on the firewall.....are you filling in the heater and a/c holes? i am doing the same project right now. will post some pics of mine to see how i did mine a lil different...if you would like i can e-mail some pics also

its deffenitly time consuming. just FYI i was able to do the whole thing using 1/2 sheet of 16G sheet metel and i will have almost none left. the pics dont do it justice it looks cleaner in person. ill take more pics once its bondo'd then after its primer is when it will really turn out.
