Transmission fluid change!
Ok I found the 2 plugs on the tranny for filling and draining. I'm not even gonna mess with the fill plug because I already have my shifter off. But this damn drain plug will not move at all! I'm using a 3/8 ratchet but I can't even unscrew it. Is there some trick to this? I think it might be stuck because I don't think the car has ever had the tranny fluid changed in 200k miles. Let me know what to do guys. I need this done asap. So any help would be appreciated.

Put a hammer to the ratchet.....start tapping on it.

I got it with the hammer idea. thanks 93mustank. Sooo... is it bad if the old tranny fluid that's coming out is brown? Because my tranny fluid straight up looks like chocolate milk

Ok, now I'm hearing this weird noise from the tranny. I actually heard it before I changed the fluid. It only happens when i let off the clutch after I put it in gear. It's kinda like a low "wooooosh" sound. I have the console and everything out because it vibrates terribly from my driveshaft vibration problem. And with the console out, I can hear everything under the car and that noise is kinda bothering me.. is it just the clutch? or what?

Pilot bearing maybe the cause of your vibe. Throwout bearing for the woosh. I maybe doing the same to mine before the summer.

I know it's not the throw out bearing. My last fox had a bad one and this doesn't sound the same.

I can't remember. I think it is like 2.75 qts - at least that's all I got in mine before it over flowed. Why can't you pull the plug out? Sorry for such a late reply man.
