I know she's a little ruff. But she was cheap and driveable. It was originally a 6cyl car but now converted to carb 302 bored .30 over. T5 trans, and minor bolt ons.

loose that spoiler and get some plug wire looms for pete's sake!

i'm looking for something cheap like that to do my LS1 swap. ugly is good. gives those pretty boys low self esteem when you beat them

Is that LX hatchback spoiler? I dont like it, but thats an easy fix. Other than that it looks like nice lil project, good luck!

LOL...I just bought the car. I haven't put a dime into it yet. I like the spoiler and the hood but the grotesque paint will have to go along with tiny tim the filter.

lol dude the early 80's was the king of brown. from the car to the house that had brown wood panels and brown shag carpet. Thank god in the late 80's they moved on to porno red.(see my car) lol. If anyone wants to donate to make it a black/grey interior I will set up a charity.

My friend had a 79 that was brown. He worked at a ford dealership and picked it up for 650. It was in perfect shape. He did a v-8 conversion and left it brown. The paint was in such good condition that he just left it.
