and those dam heads are still a bright ass blue on my car, the paints held up very well

I've seen that somewhere also. The turbo guys paint the hot side piping with a flat black paint to dissipate heat. I'll try and find and article. I don't think the color matters. I think i saw on horsepower tv where they painted an intake white to dissipate heat.

Got me.. I was just thinking about Mythbusters the other day. My Aunt was telling the kids not to jump around because she was baking a cake and did not want it to collapse. I've never seen it happen. I thought that would be a good episode.
