there are a lotof mods for carbsu just have to know where to look....also it looks like the engine is a 302. and do u know if its a 5.0 liter or 5.8 liter cause if its 5.0l its a 302 if its 5.8l its a 351 , the w or c at the end just is the style of the heads. w stands for windsor and c stands for cleveland. both of the names are from engine desingers that were very good.

We were told to measure from the center of the crank to the start of the heads and if it was 9" it would be a 351. It was 9" or more so that's what we're going by.

The 351 Cleveland and 351 Windsor are two totally different engines. The heads are just one of the differences. Every part of the engine is different, including the deck height. The names Cleveland and Windsor are not the name of the engine designers. Cleveland refers to Cleveland, Ohio where most of the 351C engines were produced and Windsor refers to Windsor, Canada where most of the 351W engines were produced.

The 9" we measured was vertical from center of crank pulley to beginning of heads. The intake is 11" wide.
