351W components
Ok. I have just secured my ownership of a 351W from ~1974 Ford Elite. And an OAD Auot tranny. I need to know about the compnents like P/S, alternator, fan, etc. I heard that I can use 5.0 accessories. Is this true? Where should I look for a full set of brackets and accessories for this mill? Thanks much.

an aod with a 351w might not be a good idea

It is all I have. It is a pure stock 351W and my mechanic assured me it is just fine. I am not going to hot rod or race the vehicle at this stage. Why do you think it will not be good enough?

well a stock 302 can sometimes be to much for an aod. do you know the hp & tq of the motor u have

almost everything will swap...as for the tranny, put a remote cooler in and a shift kit

the aod will be just fine for a stock 351W especially if you don't plan on beating on it.
