Thats the combination that im looking for too. Yea you probably will need to extend the wires. Efi components sell Pro-M on eBay, and LMPerformance too.
Pro-M,pro-m mass air, pro-m racing, pro-m mass air meters, Mass Air Meters,MAF, 80PP
Jegs sell them also, but for some reason doesnt list the 80mm on their site.

75mm tb sounds too big for stock 5.0, as do 30lbs. Are you planning on maybe power adder or stroker?

yeah i definitely know its not gonna make it full potential at all untill i get heads and full exhaust but those thing are all in the plans too......but would it help or hurt me to have all that stuff on with the stock heads and probly some sort of mild cam....its probly a letter cam....the guy i bought it from didnt know he just said it had a cam in it.......surely it wouldnt actually hurt performance would it.....i have heard you can still run 30 pounders on the stock computer tune

dont put that big maf on until your engine is built and it actually needs it. you wil lose power if you put anything bigger on a stock motor

I wouldn't worry about the throttle body. SCT and PMAS are good mass air meters. Extending the harness is simple if you have some wire, solder gun and solder.

A bigger mass air doesn't hurt horsepower but too big of a throttle body can.

SCT and PMAS (pro m) are the only two maf companies i'd go with.. never had a problem from them and i'd go with a smaller TB one that matches which ever intake combo you go but no larger then a 70mm.

Trickflow intake and larger maf won't hurt performance but sticking 30lb injectors on will make you run rich as a hell without a proper tune..

I dont know what u will be getting but i have an AFM Powerpipe on my N\A motor. When i bought it a few years ago and i still think it holds tru still but not sure that u have 2 use a shorty style meter. I bought the power pipe & pro-m shorty 80mm meter at the same time from AFM. I know there is little or no room in my fender 4 a longer meter. Might want 2 look in2 that..

no u cant because the mass air mounts on the end with the power pipe. at least mine does. it comes with the pipe and a rubber elbow 2 go 2 the TB. Also if u dont know already dont forget your stock mass is calibrated 4 19lb inj. and wont work right with the 24's..
