I figure while I'm changing my pump I may as well change the filter; what kind to you guys recommend? I'm putting in a Walbro 255 lph pump.

Thanks,
Baine

Also what weight oil would you recommend i put in the back with the new gears?

i was told by the summit live chat guy that if i fun this as the gear oil i do NOT have to run a friction modifier, what do you think about that?

Royal Purple RP01300 - Royal Purple Max-Gear Synthetic Gear Oil - summitracing.com

if the link doesn't work the part number is RPO-RP01300

royal purple ftl..... I have had first hand training from several major oil manufacturers, and let me tell u, the advantage is in the synthetic formula, period. Pick your brand. Pennzoil #1, Mobile #2, and the rest don't even really come as close to the technology and r&d these 2 have spent to bring the BEST lubricants to the market.
Always put friction modifier back in.

I like Pennzoil 75-90, and ur pick of friction modifier. I see on Royal Purples site they say no modifier required with their gear oil.
