Rear Brakes? Bushings?

Well its getting time to fix everything on my car and im working my way up to the major stuff and one problem is the rear of the car. Ive had the car up on a lift and saw the bushings need to be replaced (just gonna do new arms and everything) but im having a problem where when i stop i get a lot of squeeling coming from the back and sometimes thumping and scrubbing.

Ive changed the rear shoes and still got the same problem. Could this be the torque boxes making some of the noise or is it more than likely the busted bushings.

Did you get new drums or have the old ones turned?

Could be a number of things. You will have to crawl under it and give it a visual inspection.

Get new drums or have them turned. You can't do a brake job half assedly like that.
