NEED opinions on intake project PLEASE

OK I have a Holley Systemax setup with paxton 2000 that is a driverside mount. With a Anderson Power pipe and PMAS 88mm draw thru maf. I looking to change to a Probe ind. Spyder setup that is a victor jr single plane with elbow and EFI fuel rails. Also get a PMAS blow thru tube and while I'm at it ditch my 42# injectors (that reach 100% DC at 5000 rpm) and get new 60#.
Right now it's set up at 10 psi and starts boost at 3500 rpm.My intensions are to get it to boost faster by having less volume to fill by allso piping over the top of the distributer.
Note this is not a street car track only.
What do you think? sway me please.

A guy at my work is putting together a 302 and is wanting my intake or to buy a new one.So I found a good used spyder intake. If you want my injectors I'll sell them. They are Summit brand don't know who made them for them.I bought them new for $260.They have about 300 miles on them.Make an offer.

Depends what the rest of the combo is??????///

Shorter runner intake with a larger cross section will net you more power and rpm.......

That is if its usable rpm in your case

i dont think shortening the piping would help that much with boosting quicker the improvement if any wouldnt be worth the work.if you want to make it boost quicker
you could use a smaller pulley to spin the blower faster(but make sure its within safe limits of your blower)and add a wastegate to the intake piping to regulate the boost down where you want it.For example you could use a 15lb pulley and use then set the wastegate to limit your boost to 10psi so the boost would respond quicker.if you wanted
to go more extreme you could use a Electronic boost controller to adjust it,set boost for different gears, etc.

Makes sence. It is a paxton 2000 renegade race system that can make 30 psi.I do have a waist valve and a couple different pullies.I have a 15# pulley (not installed). It is dyno tuned waisting at 10psi now.Wow thanks that was great advice

how much boost do you wanna run ?How big of a wastegate do you have?see turbo parts can even work on a blower car.

The Spyder should make more power because it flows more air. Also keep in mind when you increase the airflow thru the engine the boost level will probably go down. That doesn't mean you are making less power, you will actually be making more power with less boost because the engine is more efficient.
