24lbs injectors?
ok i got a cobra short block with the gt-40 heads bored .30 over along with the explorer intake and it has just the cobra cam and a cold air intake bbk shorties.....the next step i was guna take is 24lbs injectors from 19lbs and a 73mm maf and a 73mm tube from the maf to the trottle body....would it make sense to do this or would it be a waste of money and time?

No need for the 24's unless you plan on future mods. If you do get a new fuel pp while your at it

19lb injectors are good until the 280ish mark so I would say you have a little room until there absolutely needed but if your going to be upgrading the MAF and plan on adding some other stuff later might as well

i'd say go for it...then you know your safe. id invest in a better intake and a cam..are you using the cobra computer?

if he is not planing on making above the 300 hp mark....he should keep the 19's and spend the money elsewhere

I ran 19's on my car for a while. I made 270 to the wheels and when i got it tuned it was rich through the whole rpm range. I only switched them because I got a deal on a meter and injectors.

I have a slightly used set of 24s with a 70mm cobra mass air ( calibrated for the 24s ) and a C&L elbow ( Nitrous Bung isnt tapped ) lying around that I will sell you...

hpw much do u want for the whole set up and yes i plan on doing more to the motor and i am guna get a new maf and injectors at the same time and then will move onto an x pipe and better intake like a trickflow street burner
