rebuilt 5.0


i found a great deal on a 5.0 78k on it for $800 almost sounds to good to be true, motor looks mint, think i should go for it eBay Motors: 94 95 MUSTANG 5.0 L 302 V8 ENGINE MOTOR f150 1994 1995 (item 130280334361 end time Feb-07-09 19:23:57 PST)

i mean that is a really clean engine. but i just heard the other day someone finding a complete explorer motor for 400....go junk yard bro

doesn't have the forged pistons.. they stopped in the 92 model year and I agree go yank one out of an explorer or mountaineer

you do what you want but I got 01 4.6 for my wifes convert from them and it looked like a dealer pulled it, it was cherry call them don't tell them about ebay ask them if they have the motor your looking for they only charged me $187 shipping and it had a 90 day warrnty

i agree with the cherry engine but i also feel you could find something better to spend the money on.....

sounds like a good idea.

Thanks everyone for your input, i know i can find a 5.0 at a junkyard, but im trying to find a 5.0 that is in really good condition, for my conversion/plan i got going for my 95.

idc what car it comes out of just as long as its a 5.0 and in good condition, been having problems finding a good one till this one i found online. And most of the junk yards around my place suck lol. Maybe i should keep looking.

take your time and find a nice one. if it has alot of money...go 347. if your not going that far with it at least get a nice fresh 306 rebuild.....
