Trans hits the body.

I cant seem to get rid of this noise.It happens when i hit the gas and somtimes shift hard and somtimes on decel. I can see where the trans is almost touching the body and making the noise how can i make it stop or lower it so its not so close.

I already changed the u joints, driveshaft, trans mount and tightened the motor mounts.

What next im thinking crossmember one of the bushings is kinda beat any suggestions thanx.

If you need bushings here is a cheap kit, maybe the rear mount is ripped also and causing the tail shaft to bounce around?

was your car originally an aod car? I know when swapping from aod to manual you have to enlarge the shifter hole in the trans tunnel maybe yours wasn't enlarged??

if your motor mounts and trans mounts are good then it only leaves the mounts on the crossmember to body.. i'd say check them out or replace em and see what happens

Motor mounts broke the runner allowing the tranny to twist?
