court went okay i had to be in court for a driving charge of mine this morning, the stuff for zane is next friday. Nah i haven't checked the timing, or anything the check engine light is off. But i know sometimes it'll store the codes to have them checked. Just happened this morning and i was late for work so i didn't fool with it too much. Talked to Nezir he said his 97 GT that he had before the Cobra did the same thing. and it was the BAP sensor, but i'm not sure if I have one, since his was the 4.6

i may try the bap sensor first, just because its a $7 part, and i don't wanna go down the same road nezir did and spend close to $700 in new sensors, plugs, wires, distributor, etc. before figuring out it was a $7 BAP sensor

Id put a reman distributor and new TFI module on any mustang with over 100K miles on it , just for maintenaince IMO.......the two parts will run you over a 100 bucks but well worth it for the piece of mind knowing that you have new parts in it .....they can crap out at anytime with no warning

man that sounds like its plugs, if its a hit and miss like that. Bad plugs are funny sometimes. Not funny (haha) I would just do a tune up anyways.

nah the car hasn't had any problems with overheating recently....i was having problems with it gettin hot a few months back but that was because the thermostat housing gasket broke...but i'd never let it get too hot i'd always pull over before it ever got into the red. but i changed the gasket and put 180* t-stat in it and its ran fine ever since.

its possible its the plugs i got some cheap autolite plugs in it anyway. and after running the seafoam through it could've fouled them out...i did notice today though once it started after i had trouble the car smelled like it was running extremely rich, so it could be the plugs not burning up all the fuel due to bad spark
