oil pressure


why do i start to loose oil pressure after 3000 rmps?

oil pump could be going bad. pressure should increase with rpms,

have you checked the oil level in the car?? and what type of gauge are you using stock gauge??

stock and it normally stays a lil above half way but just when i get above 3000 it starts droping and when i get around 5000 it sits on the line above the 0..

I'd go get a mechanical guage and hook it up to make sure your stock guage isn't lying to you

ya its normal to do that with these pos stock gauges its a good investment to get a mechanical gauge. i bought a $26 gauge from checker and it works great.

Yeah i would check the gauge. if you go down to lower rpms and it goes back up i would def check the gauge.
