t-bird


how is a t-birds 5.0 ho different from a mustangs 5.0 ho because the hp is 200 and 275 tq and a mustangs is 225 hp and 300 torque? did they put hypereutectic pistons in them like the 93 stang

Most of the 5.0 T-Birds (factory) used the CFI (Carburated Fuel Injection - looks like a 2 barrell carb but has two injectors sitting up in the barrels)...It was not EFI...Also the T-Bird 5.0 were autos...I am pretty sure that is it...

the one i was lookin at on craigslist was like a 92 and the upperintake looked just like the 94-95 mustang... but i call the guy and it has more miles then mine so im back to square one lookin for a motor

there all the same except for the camshaft, there diffrent. the t-birds were luxury cars so there was less power
it was designed for more of a daily driver type car

Sorry i should have been more specific...I know the 84 - 86 were different in that aspect that i listed...They may ahve changed...I have been out of t-birds for a while now...
