Well, the only thing to hit at our autocrosses are a giant concrete sound barrier to protect the neighborhood across the inlet from the noise of the hovercrafts, and one of the Marine's hovercrafts.

If you hit a hovercraft, I think the least of your problems are some broken plastic, considering JUST the skirt on them is over a million dollars.

Besides, our group cleans up the site at the end of every day.

Yeah one of dem.

Apparently a few years ago they took one out and autocrossed it once everyone had gone I'm pretty sure it hit every cone, but I bet that was fucking awesome.

I think the military was who did it, but they let a couple of the guys ride along.

Normally I would pass that off as some BS, but a good friend of mine said he rode on it, so I have ot believe him.

Yeah, I've seen them before when me and my dad used to go fishing out in the Chesapeake Bay, they would take them out sometimes when it was fairly flat and them things would haul ass.

Got my parts from MM today. Once again, amazing service from an amazing company. The Subframe connectors are AMAZING. They're very hefty, and very sturdy. They're also like 6 foot long, which is also badass. I cant wait to feel the car once I put all of my new goodies on. Maybe It'll start getting closer to having the suspension and steering feel of my miata

Ouch. He's really lucky for doing that in the uphill esses. That series has been known to eat RWD cars like candy just for letting off the gas.

Here's an old video of an Audi R8 lifting on the uphill esses and hitting the tires:

If you look, at 0:03 into the video, that is about where I started to spin, and ended up cutting left and hit that green guardrail before the bridge.

I think wrecking a mustang is a little easier on the soul than wrecking an R8 though lol

You'd be pretty pissed at yourself too if you wrecked a $150k car because of your own stupid mistake.

*edit* Actually, you'd be pissed if you wrecked a $3500 car because of your own stupid mistake. I know from experience.
