5.0 Ground Effects
Does anyone know of anywhere with 5.0 ground effects? Or anyone with a set for sale. I'm going to get mine painted but I'm not to sure on the plain LX body.
Thinking of going with Hot Rod Black (satin black) Any opinions?

you can prob go on craigslist and find all the parts..maybe seperately..check out ebay..are you looking for all new or used parts..cuz if new then your best bet is with 50resto...i went through them on my 89 GT when i converted to LX...but now im onto my brothers project and we are converting his LX to GT cuz he likes the looks better...a full GT kit through them isnt that bad..but my brothers doing the cobra rear bumper, cobra spoiler and stalker front, along with cobra side skirts

yeah the only thing doing the LX to GT conversion is that you will need the little retaining brackets for almost all of the side skirts...

yeah trust me i'm a very indisicive person and i can never stick with one thing for long...but yeah they use little rivetted brackets on the sides..you can usually find them in not to bad a condition used..but i think 50resto is now selling them...plus what kind of spoiler are you gunna run on this..cuz you know that using your stock LX hatch will leave a few holes out in the open on any of the saleen, GT or cobra spoilers..just food for thought...

You have a saleen style wing on your lx.. I'd personally save the money/time in putting gt ground effects on and invest into something else like the motor or interior. Gt ground effects are ok but just add weight to the car in my opinion and if it were me i'd just do the saleen kit. Much easier to mount up and I like the look of them better especially with the lx grill opening
