What is the largest cam I can run with a 202 int valve and stock pistons in a 1989 5.0 block with 1.6 roller rockers.

Depends on what heads you use. Either way I would highly recomend checking valve to piston clearance. 10 minutes checking the clearance will save you weeks and months of time down the road, not to mention saving you a ton of money.

smaller than stock. 1.94 is the max valve size you can use without notching the pistons on a stock bottom end.

Unless you run a Twisted Wedge head.

beat me to it. The tw head is the only one i know of that allows you to run the 2.02 heads without fly cutting the pistons.

I bought the twisted wedge heads they are the track heat heads with 202 160. So how big of a cam can I run with 1.6 ratio rockers?
