Looks like some c-16 would have helped
Methanol injection is a great addition to this type of combo to keep the intake temps down. With the C-16 I could run more timing without detonation. I have never run the car at the track with the 10lb pulley installed... Only the dyno...

Man, IAT will be through the roof. I would suggest running killer gas as a lot more power can be made in the timing maps...

Yea heat soak is a big issue with these blowers, i saw on one forum that someone logged almost 200 degree intake temperatures with 1,5L at 8 pounds. Definitely needs a water/meth injection.

I think its not that bad with bigger ones, but without intercooler it needs lot of octane too.

I have 338 RWHP with H/C and a 1.5L @ 6psi with TMOSS ported stock lower. 9 psi and meth will see me at 380-390RWHP. I had 380 RQTQ as well. Quite happy with the little guy.

Definitely buy the bigger blowers - 2.2 or 2.1. Way more potential that the 1.5. I am on the lookout for a 2.2 then the 1.5 goes on sale. Still waiting to find one at the right price though...

Well KB has a big FAQ section now and the way it's written I think they are fed up with people not using these things as intended and then badmouthing them when things go south. Air MUST be fed via the fenderwell or down low in fresh air. Not from under the hood. Fluid must be percise, etc.

I have a 1.5L with an A2A intercooler now. Will see how she goes on my F150's roller 351w

we always want to keep the threads, its just that most of the people that answered or commented or asked a question arnt even on the sight any more. Its not that big of a deal that you brought it back form the dead, its just that some people dont pay atention to the date in which they were posted.

you REALLY think they give a crap about this old ass blower and old ass car?

They give out standard information about that crap, just like any company will. Funny thing about kenne bell.. they will throw your warranty out if they find you DONT have a true cold air intake.

If they did care, they would have a MUCH newer design. Dunno why they don't, probably because they realize most old 5.0 owners won't spend $4,000 on a blower set up, like the 03-04 cobra, and 2005+ GT guys will.
