Which gear ratio do you think is best for an automatic mustang that is still being used as a daily driver.

I personally have a 94 5.0

It all depends on your setup.forced induction 3.55s. N/A 3.90s or 4.10s. I had 3.90s before I went to 3.55s for my turbo setup,the downside is they dont make a speedo gear for 3.90s its either a 3.73 gear or a 4.10 gear.I liked the 3.90s motive makes a really good product. Some people complain they whine but if the rear is setup properly
its pretty quiet.

personally i have a manual i use 3.73 and its a daily driver and my uncles is an automatic and he uses 3.73 and we both like that st up alot.

yea just gonna be a pain trying to find that many people that have different gears in an AOD car, a 5 spd but with AOD, ya don't find as many people who race them.

I have a convertable so i think a weigh a little less the hardtop, i had 3.73 in my auto 3.8 and liked it, but honestly i just want to be able to hang with a stock vette with minor upgrade without have to charge or nos it and still be able to use daily.

What kinda Vette?? LT1 or LS1 ?? LT1 Vettes you can run with just minor bolt on's and gears. LS1 Vette you'll probably have to have full bolt on's and 4.30's and even then it'll be a close race especially on top end.

and if you're talking about the newer vettes (i.e. LS2,LS3, or any Z06 Model LS6 or LS7) you're gonna have to do some type of forced induction to keep up with them.
