vacuum distributor.

Hi peeps
Ive got a 89, 2.3lx im fitting a 302 in. Its going to be carbed with elec msd distributor. And was wondering if i still needed the vacuum distributor block on the baulkhead. For my brake servo i was going to run the pipe strait from the intake. What else needs to have a vacuum on these foxbodys.
And if anyone can tell me wait the big diafram is under the front fender. It has a vacuum pipe going to it. I want to do away with it all.
If anyone can let me know that would be grate.

Im chucking the aircon, but keeping the heater. What does the heater need a vacuum for. And is it ok to use a vacuum from the intake with a non return valve like the servo.
Thanks 86er

heater needs vacuum to move the blend door to the heat option, and operate the vents position in the hvac box

Thats cool at least you speek ur mind bud.
Fat looking motor for an 18 year old.
No offence, Its just insurance is a killer in uk which means most can only afford 1.6litre motors until there 21.
Im nuts about fords and managed to have a 2.8 capri when i was 19 paying £1400 a year insurance.
Sound mate.
