Air Flow Meter

I have a 75mm MAF calibrated for 19lbs injectors with a stock throttle body on my 302. When started it smokes and stumbles do you think i need to upgrade my throttle body to correct this?

The throttle body has nothing to do with it. When did the problem start? What brand is the mass air meter and is it new or used?
