t-56 swap


anyone have the t-56 swap kit from dd performance? If so how much did you pay for it cause the price isnt listed on the site. Also if anyone knows a better place to get a t-56 let me know

yeah i thought so whats really the difference because i was thinking about just holding off till i see a cobra tranny up for sale and get that then just get all the parts needed for the swap.

well i kinda want a six speed but i want something to handle a good amount of power... going behind a turbo stroker motor

yeah i thought about those but i hear they are harder to shift or the shifting is notchy my other option was to just buy the gforce internals and have them installed in my t-5

talk to esean...he knows alot about the t-5 and can give you some really good advise. as far as it being notchy i've never drove them......im sure the are but i dont think there crazy hard.

i've drove a 94 cobra with a tremec tko 600 in it and it didn't feel any different than a T5, as far as the t56 i think i've heard of people ordering them, i wanna say they paid something like 3200 but i could be wrong.

i wanna say the kits are at least 4K, if you want the tq capacity the tko is your best bet for the money, i think their rated to 600
