bubbling radiator ?

there is some smoke if the car runs a long time or i run it to hard but the smoke is only around the radiator and its resivior, and the resivior begins to bubble and growl

the resivior is leaking and the radiator may be leaking too

is it possible it may not be a head gasket problem

im sure there is also no pressure in the coolant resivior

also i cant seem to get the cap off the radiator it feels stuck on there, it turns to vent but doesn't seem to want to twist off

any idea on what i can do?

im going tomorrow to track down a new resivior that seals and doesnt leak, a new tube for it and a new radiator cap hope that fixes it, maybe i will need a new radiator ?

take the radiator cap off, let the car warm up, if it bubbles, head gasket problems, if it doesnt problems else where

I take it that it is steam not smoke, Go to autozone and get a pressure tester for your radiator pump it up look for leaks, and check oil to see if any coolant has got in it.odds are it's not your head gasket if it is steam comming from the radiator
