seat covers


my seats are still pretty decent but have a lot of stains and i would like a tight fitting seat cover, any recommendations? 1989 lx coupe

They pretty much all such your best bet would be to save up and buy new replacements from 5.0 resto. Or have them cleaned or use tuff stuff or oxi clean and a wet/dry shop vac

yea, i've never been a fan of seat covers, what color seats are they? you could always clean them and then dye them black, no more stains.....

i like what this guy said. seat covers tear easier than the seat fabric. they move, etc

chickenbot were did you get your seats? also baine21225 how do i go about dying them black i like that idea a lot, any info would be good, they are i blue now, that darker blue i think its called lapis, dying them would work well because i am putting in black carpet and i already had all the trim and panels painted black

i used oxi and it cleaned the stains out of my seats they looked brand new when i got done i just sprayed it on let it sit for a little sprayed somemore on then took a wet rag and scrubbed the crap outta them then used a vac

they have dye kits, not sure or the process, a few of my friends did it.....google is good

I dont know about mustangs but here is a link to a company that makes really nice seat covers. they are waterproof and fit like original, but they are kinda expensive you can probably buy replacement seat skins from 5.0 resto for about the same price Auto Seat Covers - Wet Okole Hawaii – Waterproof Seat Covers

edit: here are the mustang covers and it looks like they are about 230 bucks for the plain ones but you can order them with any colors you want and some nice "ricer" graphics or camo if thats your thing Ford Mustang Seat Covers - Front

well theyre $400 per seat so $800 for the pair.. i only bought the drive seat but i think its totally worth it.. comfy as hell

paint thinner and a micro fiber rag. or steam clean it. i used to be a car detailer so all the tricks were past down
