How Much Can It Take?
I have a buddy who is building a 347, he has afr 205s all of the works for nos but he has a stock block. he put a main girdle on and insists that it will be ok. I believe he plans on running a big shot of nos just curious what you all think? thanks

with 205 heads and a 347 he might already be making 450 motor power....with a big shot of nitrous he may regret it

I believe the stock block is good to about 550 to 600 H.P. I think....

Most likely lifter valley will split before the mains walk, so the girdle wont do much.
