how to rewire turn signals in the dash?


like stated im building my own speedo cluster and b4 i start i want to get my ducks in a row. how do i make the stock turn signals control my new lights in the dash? oh and how do i make my new speedo from autometer work with my car, do i need electrical or mechanical?

get dmm and turn the lights on with the headlight switch out of the dash, find the wire with power when the lights are on, tap into that wire and you are done

speedo will need to be mechanical

if you can read a wiring schematic, you can find the power wires that way, but either way, you are gonna have to tap into the wires in the column
