9 in rearend?


i have this question in another topic but i wanted to repost it incase others didnt go into the conversation from the previous topic. im planning on getting a 9 in moser "bolt in" rearend the question is will the typical (adjustible) suspension components work that would work on the 8.8?if not where can i find suspension componenets for the 8.8?

buy the direct bolt in. this way you dont have to have the housing narrowed get new axles and it will bolt right up to your car

Keep in mind that you are going to be adding at least an additional 60lbs of weigth to your stang with that. just FYI.

Yes it will unless you spend a ton of money on lightweight parts. A 9 inch is a waste of money unless you are making in excess of 1000hp.

VERY true! solareclpse2000 you can get a complete race-ready 8.8" /w 9" housing ends, tubes welded and at any length you want from TeamZmotorsports.

As Darrell stated, unless you are making big power you can get by with an 8.8" rear. It's much lighter and easier on the wallet IMO.

Give TeamZmotorsports a call - I think you can get an entire housing for roughly $700.00

not trying to steer you away from the 9" rear, but just giving some food for thought. Hope this helps, and good luck.
