Battery relocation pics...


Just picked up a Taylor battery relocation box. I would like to see were you all have the mounted. Going in my 90 lx coupe.

custom work done in the center of my trunk, battery is mounted inside a morosso weatherproof box. ill get pictures tomorrow for ya.

I may be wrong but I think you are ok with not having it in a box with the optima battery. We put a lot of them in custom car stereo installations without an aluminum box and never had any problems with them rusting out. A regular car battery tends to leak and corrode where the optimas dont (normally)

why would it rust? its a jell cell battery not one that you put water in (if that has anything to do with it)
