wiring harness?

ok as some of you know i have a carb'd 306 in my hatch, i was thinking today about ripping out the wiring harness that APPEARS to be just sitting there... i haven't ever worked w/a carb'd set up so i have no idea but do i need to keep it in there for any accessories/gauges? or can i just rip it out?

i already have a temp and oil gauge, i don't think running a fuel gauge would be a big deal, and i RARELY use my a/c so i would miss that too much... i think i might do it, anyone else have any advice on tihs?

i just ripped out my wring harness a few days ago after doing my carb swap. i didnt loose anything from it. fuel gauge still works. i have after market tach, temp and oil. i know the temp went through that harness. also i had to find another hot wire for my coil. but that was easy with a multi meter. ill take a pic for you if you need

i definatly understand that. the whole reason for me doing the carb swap is because i cant stand all that clutter under there. When i took my efi harness out, it looked SOOOOOOOOOOO much better
