finally decided...

on what im doing w/ my spending money... i am going w/ the steeda tri ax shifter, 3.73 gears (full kit), sunpro tach, and a couple hours on the dyno for some MUCH needed tuning. im going to hold off on the h pipe for now, i think a big reason for me not liking the straight pipes is b/c of being at such a high rpm w/ the 4.56s so im going to do the tuning and everything else and if i still don't like it then i'll get it.

if you wait for the h pipe after the tune when you throw it on your tune wont be accurate anymore

yea i just feel i can get a lot more out of the tuning than a h pipe, i mean my carb needs some adjusting and a lot of other little things that it can use.

Your not going to like your dyno numbers with straight pipes. Get a mid pipe and mufflers on there.

Straight pipes means no mufflers and no mid pipe. There for you just dont have a mid pipe......

Your not running a turbo so you need some back pressure or you'll be losing tons of low end torque... especially if the car is stockish.

Np on the terminology bro; now you know . But like Ryan says, back pressure will do you some good. If you had a big motor like an ls1 or bigger you can make power from stock headers y pipe and just slapping a cutout on. Our little 5.slows wont.

thanks for the heads up lol im suckin on my list now lol. i have about 700 to spend, the stuff on my list is 3.73 gears (259.99), steeda shifter (169.99) h pipe (169.99) a tachometer (100) and new plug wires (39.99) also i found a shop that would do a dyno tune for 100/hr and i budgeted two hours to be safe. so basically im trying to mix and match off that list... must have are the gears, tach and wires. from there im lost...
